Signing Kids

   Signing Kids is a fun way for children to learn a new language. They will learn how to integrate sign while playing games, signing songs, reading books, and many more fun hands on activities! Learning sign language (ASL) will expand your child's world and build their self confidence. It will also increase long-term learning abilities.

For: children ages 4-8 years old

When: 10 weeks session starts February 20, 2013

Time: 3:15pm (ages 4-6) 4:15pm (ages 6-8)

Cost: $90 (includes registration, tuition, and flash cards)

Before your child can learn to wave or clap, s/he can learn to sign.

Infants and Toddlers who sign:

Øcan begin communicating with signs as early as 6 months of age.

Øcan have a vocabulary of 300 signs & words by 18 months.

Ølearn spoken words as easily or easier than non-signers.

Ø
show cognitive and linguistic advancements at age 4.

For:  Parents and their 6 month – 3 year old children

Dates:  10-week session; February 20, 2013

Time:  10:00am (12mo. - 3 yrs.); 

9:00am (6 - 12mo.)

You and your child will :

Øplay while learning lots of signs

Ølearn how to incorporate signs into daily routines

Classes are lead by Mary Anderson, licensed Signing Smart Instructor.

Cost:  $110 (cost includes registration, the Signing Smart Beginner Handbook, and The Treasure Chest children’s video.)
